Peer Review Policy

All review processes are conducted using a single-blind review method, managed directly by the editorial board. In this method, the identity of the reviewer remains confidential and is not disclosed to the author. Reviewers who are invited to evaluate manuscripts for Jurnal Manajemen Agribisnis dan Agroindustri are required to adhere to the journal Ethics for Reviewers guidelines.

General requirements

Each submitted manuscript will be reviewed by two (2) reviewers who specialize in the relevant field. The decision made by the first reviewer will serve as the primary consideration for the editor in making an editorial decision.

The duration of the review process may vary, depending on the time taken by the reviewers to evaluate the manuscript and return their feedback. Typically, one round of review is expected to be completed within four (4) weeks. Prospective reviewers are selected based on their expertise and the relevance of their specialization to the manuscript topic.

Review Context

To maintain high publication standards in Jurnal Manajemen Agribisnis dan Agroindustri, reviewers will evaluate the quality and rigor of the manuscript's content. The aspects considered during the review process include:

  • Title: Does the title accurately reflect the content of the article?
  • Background and Objectives: Are the background, research problems, and objectives presented clearly and concisely by the author?
  • Research Methodology: Has the research been conducted using appropriate and relevant methods? Are the tools, materials, and procedures described in sufficient detail to allow replication by other researchers?
  • Results and Discussion: Are the research results presented clearly? How does the author analyze and interpret the findings? Does the discussion effectively address the research objectives? Are the discussions supported by relevant references, and if not, are there other references that could better support the analysis?
  • Conclusions: Do the conclusions presented adequately address the research objectives? Are the findings supported by appropriate test results or significance levels, rather than just a general summary?
